The lifecycle of an SAP project runs all the way from opportunity and solutioning through to project delivery. As the SAP Project Manager, you oversee the successful delivery of SAP projects for one or more customers. This involves everything from planning to executing development projects and programs for clients, ensuring that solutions meet operational, contractual, and financial commitments, and transitioning them to operational support.
You will lead, monitor and report throughout the project phases - planning, executing, and transitioning. You are in regular communication with stakeholders and clients about your delivery obligations including monitoring expectations, milestones, risks, financial performance, and any other agreed obligations.
You will have experience in leading and delivering SAP projects successfully and can:

  • Handhold your stakeholders through initiations and kick-offs, business reviews and other governance boards, risk and issue management, and scope and change forums.

As an SAP Project Manager you will:
  • Have full ownership and governance of SAP projects for your client(s)
  • Be the first point of escalation for your clients and your team members
  • Establish and manage a collaborative and trusted account relationship with your client counterpart, the client’s leadership team and project team members
  • Manage projects as per the elected project methodology (SAP Activate / PMP / Prince2 / Agile)
  • Execute projects per the scope, cost, schedule, and quality requirements
  • Prepare for and lead client facing workshops
  • Understand the best-practice scope & be able to talk to clients in adopting these
  • Identify as an expert go-to person within the SAP Practice and client.
  • Lead highly skilled project teams
  • Apply Fujitsu and SAP tools and methodologies to deliver outcomes successfully
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendor’s sales staff
Building your own path to success:
  • Min 10 years’ experience managing and delivering SAP ECC and S/4HANA Projects
  • Must have solid client engagement skills/expertise
  • Functional and industry domain expertise
  • PMP/Agile/ITIL experience and certifications
  • SAP Certifications in
  • S/4HANA Activate
  • A functional or technical certification
  • Strong communication & presentation skills - both written and verbal - and the ability to lead a team
  • A strong belief in Fujitsu’s values 
PLEASE NOTE: Fujitsu complies with government legislation in various jurisdictions which in some circumstances may impose a requirement that certain workers be vaccinated against COVID-19 (or otherwise have a valid exemption). Also, for client facing roles, some of our customers require our staff to be vaccinated to attend their workplaces. Based on Fujitsu’s assessment of workplace risk and the safety and wellbeing of our people and consultation with our staff, Fujitsu has a Vaccination Requirements policy which requires all new employees to have received at least two COVID-19 vaccinations or have a medical exemption or otherwise be approved by the Crisis Management Team (CMT). Exemptions will need to be reviewed and approved by Fujitsu’s CMT, prior to being employed. Note that for some roles, employees may need booster vaccination(s) in accordance with a public health order or customer requirement. Recruits will be required to provide evidence of their vaccination status as part of the recruitment process.
