The successful candidate will operate as part of a team responsible for the management of the Applications and IT systems used by the data centre business.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Coordinating all aspects of the Application and IT systems associated with Data Centre specific activities.
  • Managing & supporting the key Applications. These include Building Management Systems, Building Security Systems, Asset & Maintenance Management Systems and the Internet facing Client Portal.
  • Engaging & coordinating 3RD Party Vendors involved with the supply and maintenance of the Applications.
  • Engaging & coordinating other Fujitsu Support teams involved in the delivery of the underlying infrastructure (eg. Networks, Firewalls, Compute & Storage Resources, Backup/Restoration and Vulnerability Management)
  • Ensuring compliance of Applications and Infrastructure with corresponding best practice and certifications. Configuration Management, Risk Management, Release Management, Information Security, Disaster Recovery, Lifecycle management etc.
  • Generate and maintain appropriate documentation for new and existing systems
  • Providing 3rd level support where appropriate
  • Working with the Data Centre teams and Clients to identify areas of Application improvement to ensure Data Centre services are provided securely and effectively
  • Preparing simple cost/benefit analysis for improvements

Building your own path to success:
  • Experience with Linux, Windows, SQL Databases, Networks & Firewalls
  • Experience with Security & Vulnerability Management
  • Experience in technical business analysis with strong systems development and technical background
  • Demonstrated ability to elicit, interpret and translate business information from stakeholders into complex technical solutions
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies and the systems development lifecycle
  • Advanced analytical skills
  • Extensive knowledge of the IT Industry, product availability and market driven technology directions
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities in a professional and timely manner
