The Project Coordinator is responsible for Coordinating project outcomes across the Chief Information Officer Group, through stakeholder meetings, analysis and timely reporting on all subordinate projects. The role requires an individual with good people & time management skills and an understanding of project delivery & management to deliver reports to the Head of ICT within Defence. Conducting meetings and taking minutes from Project leads and Branch Heads across CIOG is a key part of success in this role.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Must Have

  • Security – NV1 required.
  • Project experience – planning, reporting, understanding of project lifecycle
  • Defence experience – needs to have a basic understanding of the defence community / environment
Nice to Have
  • Project coordinator qualified – e.g. PRINCE2 or PMBOK
  • Experience – working in senior management environment
  • Business analyst skills - ability to analyse programs, project and tasks for priority / risk etc
  • Reporting – ability to develop business intelligence tools (Microsoft tools ie Excel, Power BI, MS Project)

Fujitsu complies with government legislation in various jurisdictions which in some circumstances may impose a requirement that certain workers be vaccinated against COVID-19 (or otherwise have a valid exemption). Also, for client facing roles, some of our customers require our staff to be vaccinated to attend their workplaces. Based on Fujitsu’s assessment of workplace risk and the safety and wellbeing of our people and consultation with our staff, Fujitsu has a Vaccination Requirements policy which requires all new employees recruits to have received at least two COVID-19 vaccinations or have an approved medical exemption or otherwise be approved by the Crisis Management Team (CMT). Exemptions will need to be reviewed and approved by Fujitsu’s CMT, prior to being employed. Note that for some roles, employees may need booster vaccination(s) in accordance with a public health order or customer requirement.
