Shape your world and achieve together
  • Engage: Pre-Sales support for Microsoft D365 opportunities; Providing Input into Portfolio offerings and Demand generation.
  • Design: Requirements Definition, Solution Development, workshop facilitation, customer facing, consulting activities
  • Build: Solution deployment oversight, Project execution technical best practices; delivery oversight
    Run: Strategic client engagement; Trusted Advisor for Microsoft D365; Technical Relationships and lead Workshops with the customer SME’s,
  • Prepare slides for the workshops & present and run the sessions
  • Carry out demonstrations in FinOps where appropriate to illustrate topics
  • Capture requirements at a sufficient level to inform the Design in Azure DevOps
  • Liaise with the customer to provide thought leadership and insights into ‘best practice’
  • Respond to any questions from the customer and liaise with the project team and project manager
  • Actively participate in Fujitsu project team meetings and stand-ups and provide updates to the Project Manager to feed into Project Status Reports and Fujitsu updates to the Steering Group
  • Create Solution Design Documents
  • Solution Design Document – to be created in collaboration with the functional consultants.
  • Fit Gap Analysis – to be crated in collaboration with the functional consultants.
  • Architecture Design Document
  • Environment Design Document
  • Integration Design Document
  • Technical Design for integrations and customisations
  • Integration plan (with timeline) for the integrations and customisations – which will feed into the implementation SOW
General Accountabilities:
  • Assist sales teams and customers in defining high quality solutions based on customer business requirements.
  • Own the solution design throughout the sales cycle and deployment phases.
  • Complete responsibility for technical input to qualification and business approval meetings, designing larger more complex solutions.
  • Shapes technical proposals to be commercially acceptable to the customer and may make solution/service trade offs.
  • Defines the approach to larger/more complex solution development and acceptance testing, controlling technical scope and the work of the design team in order to ensure an acceptable cost structure
  • Demonstrably operates as the D365 Solution Architect for large, complex solutions.
  • Regularly has large, complex designs, incorporating trade-offs from the original specification, accepted by the relevant business approval review, without any requirement for design changes.
  • Authors design and test documents for large, complex solution, whose risk and cost elements are accepted by the customer or Project Manager.
  • Tangible recognition from customers and/or Fujitsu sales of being a major influence in the customer choosing Fujitsu.
  • Using company prescribed methodologies, can demonstrate a contribution to the definition of customer overall IT architecture, including new solutions or significant size and complexity and which contain solution components from contributing specialists.
  • Regular contribution to, and user of, company knowledge repositories and events.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Demonstrably operates as the D365 Solution Architect for large, complex solutions.
  • Regularly has large, complex designs, incorporating trade-offs from the original specification, accepted by the relevant business approval review, without any requirement for design changes.
  • Authors design and test documents for large, complex solution, whose risk and cost elements are accepted by the customer or Project Manager.
  • Tangible recognition from customers and/or Fujitsu sales of being a major influence in the customer choosing Fujitsu.
  • Using company prescribed methodologies, can demonstrate a contribution to the definition of customer overall IT architecture, including new solutions or significant size and complexity and which contain solution components from contributing specialists.
  • Regular contribution to, and user of, company knowledge repositories and events.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Mathematics or related field
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in system architecture and design
  • Project experience implementing Microsoft D365 Solutions with hands on experience across design, development and deployment functions.
  • Knowledgeable across Microsoft Industry Solutions
  • Experience managing customer facing workshops to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • A Self-starter who is able to handle multiple tasks and priorities
  • Microsoft D365 certification is strongly desired

Technology & Solution Architecture
  • Understanding of the Microsoft Ecosystem with focus on Dynamics 365.
  • Familiarisation with Power Platform, the collaboration technologies within Office365 as well as Azure.
  • Experience in implementing, architecting or specifying key Microsoft technologies, with significant depth in Cloud
  • Good experience of approaches, techniques and model used by both business and technical consulting professionals in solution delivery including; Design Thinking, Agile methods and Tools (Scrum, SAFe)
  • Broad understanding of the technology industry, including current and emerging digital strategies, solutions and trends, as well as experience in delivering/governing technology-enabling business transformation
  • Propose and design solutions using the extensive Microsoft Power Platform Low-Code capabilities in meeting business requirements
  • Build upon and extend the integration of the Microsoft D365 and Power Platform across all technologies
  • Facilitate and run scoping workshops to ensure customer requirements are understood and delivered against
  • Deliver quality and excellent in supporting Fujitsu’s position as a certified Microsoft Platinum Partner
  • Support in creating proposals and responding to RFP’s
  • Develop bespoke solutions and go to market offerings.
  • Knowledge on DevOps

Desired Experience & Knowledge/ other relevant information:
  • The resource needs to be a team player and an excellent communicator as is the role is visible and prominent with the customer.
  • The resource also needs to demonstrate a high level of situational awareness and understand what is appropriate to discuss in workshops and what needs to be discussed further and agreed with the team before discussing with the customer.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps is also preferred.
  • Ideally, would want the resource to be able to travel to New Zealand and run the workshops face to face
  • For the right resource we would consider the use of teams, but the customer has requested onsite workshops and that is what is written into the commercials.
