It is an exciting time for Fujitsu as we are looking to grow the team with committed people to support a large corporate client on multiple enterprise applications. We are looking for a qualified Java Swing Developer to design and code functional programs and applications. You will work as part of a team and individually with little supervision.

The great Java Developer will have excellent knowledge Java Swing and Oracle PL/SQL. You must be familiar with a variety of operating systems and platforms. The ideal candidate will also have an analytical mindset and a keen eye for detail.
The goal is to write “clean” and flawless code to produce fully functional software applications according to requirement.

Key Accountabilities:
Work in designing and developing new functionality and data structures of Java (Swing and J2EE)and Pl/SQL based complex and big applications. Work in enhancing and maintaining existing software products – from the development of new functionality to medium & complex scale redesigns and bug fixing. Implementing adequate testing and quality control measures. Develop and maintain regular communication channels with other team members, customers and managing customer expectations. Build and maintain high levels of customer service. Focus on ongoing improvement of application.

Building your own path to success:
  • Experience in application development of Java (Swing, J2EE), SQL and PL/SQL based Applications
  • Proven experience in Software development and application maintenance Support
  • Proven experience with Java (Swing, J2EE)
  • Proven experience with PL/SQL
  • Sound knowledge in software design patterns.
  • Experience with SQL and Oracle database
  • Experience with Unix shell Scripting
  • Ability to understand ER diagrams
  • Experience with Micro Services, Spring Boot and Node JS (Desirable).
  • Experience with Android and IOS mobile application development (Desirable)
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Leading a team of developers and analyst programmers
  • Pro-active and logical approach to problem-solving

  • Qualifications - Tertiary qualifications in the field of computer science or equivalent
PLEASE NOTE: Fujitsu complies with government legislation in various jurisdictions which in some circumstances may impose a requirement that certain workers be vaccinated against COVID-19 (or otherwise have a valid exemption).
