What we're looking for:

We're looking to appoint an experienced Excavator Operator to undertake Sewer Construction works within our Pipelines Department. This is a permanent full-time position, that will see you working across the South-Eastern suburbs and other Greater Melbourne Metro areas.

You'll be responsible for:

On a day-to-day basis you'll be involved as a key member of a construction crew undertaking the installation of new sewer and water pipelines mainly within new subdivisions. Regular duties will include:
  • Operation of excavators up to 30T class;
  • Safe trenching techniques to depth;
  • Installation and removal of trench shoring;
  • Handling and placement of pipe and back fill;
  • Clean-up and compaction of trenches;
  • Plant maintenance;
  • Other plant operation, pipe laying & labouring duties when required.
What we need from you
  • A strong commitment to safety;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Sewer construction experience;
  • Deep trenching experience;
  • Excavator operator experience.
