Fulton Hogan is pleased to announce we have been awarded the design and construction project for the Newcastle Inner City Bypass - Rankin Park to Jesmond. Working closely with Transport for NSW this project comprises of 3.4kms of four-lane divided road with interchanges at Newcastle Road, Lookout Road and the John Hunter Hospital precinct. Upgrades to existing connecting roads, pedestrian bridge and underpass are included in the scope of works to complete. This $450 million project is set to commence late 2022 and will provide essential infrastructure to the Newcastle community.

We are looking for talented and experienced Quality Coordinator to join our Newcastle Inner City Bypass Project Team. Your background in construction infrastructure projects will assist us delivering this project.

You will support all quality and compliance processes in line with our Quality Management Systems, in addition to supporting and driving continuous improvement of these processes and systems in a way that supports the successful delivery of the project. In return, you will operate alongside a dynamic and collaborative team with plenty of scope to showcase your expertise and further develop within the organisation. Your day to day will include:
  • Ensuring ongoing compliance in regards to technical requirements and physical works;
  • Reporting project progress and non-conformances;
  • Support a quality culture in collaboration with the HSEQ staff and engineering project leads.



How you'll connect to the role?
As a Quality Coordinator you will have strong problem solving, technical and analytical skills to support the implementation of the Quality Management Plan. You will be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills to support and build relationships within the business. With previous experience in a similar role in a construction environment, you will have high attention to detail and a key interest in safety and compliance.
