The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Contract Administrator to work from our project office in Bunbury on an 8-month maternity leave contract.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting team members in the selection of appropriate suppliers and subcontractors to ensure value for money outcomes
  • Assisting in coaching, supporting and executing procurement activity processes such as requisitions, purchase orders, quotations and tenders.
  • Facilitation of the on boarding and assessment of new suppliers/subcontractors.
  • Supporting the project Commercial Manager in the performance, commercial and contractual requirements of the Contract.
  • Identifying and developing opportunities to improve existing procurement processes and documentation
  • Effectively executing the procurement policies, strategies and objectives of the overall project and those of Fulton Hogan
  • Undertaking procurement audits and reviews with Operational Teams, inclusive of assisting with the auditing requirements of the Contract.
  • Administrating suppliers' subcontracts, reviewing subcontractors' claims and providing feedback to the Commercial team
  • Assisting the commercial team in managing the contract and multiple subcontracts
  • Coordinating with operational and finance teams to ensure proper billing and collection of contractual revenue
  • Provision of subcontract advice and assisting in the resolution of subcontract disputes. Confer with subcontractors and other divisions concerning compliance, subcontract requirements and subcontract payments.

About You

The successful applicant will have the following skills/experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, with a focus in supply chain, procurement, purchasing and/or contract administration
  • Relevant experience in a company with a mature purchasing function, including experience in the selection of suppliers and subcontractors - inquiry and negotiation
  • Proven ability to partner closely with a business and promote integrity, compliance and discipline throughout the procurement process.
