This role is responsible for designing a safe and effective site-specific traffic management plan (TMP) that covers the design, implementation, maintenance and removal of temporary traffic management (TTM) measures while work or activity is carried out in the road corridor (road, footpath or berm). The role will also assist with the management of the approval process by road controlling authorities (RCAs) for TMPs as well as consult on best practice.

Your talents in this role will provide the team with an environment that puts safety and quality first. You would be consulting on and designing safe, site-specific TMPs. You will need to be proactive in effective and safe Traffic Management. You will also need to manage projects from conception to completion.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about what they do with a positive approach and a can-do attitude.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Current TMP Planner warrant with thorough understanding of all things Traffic management
  • Current knowledge of legislation and industry developments relating to Temporary Traffic Management
  • Knowledge of TMP design software including AutoCAD and/or Rapid
  • Operational TTM experience is an advantage
  • The ability to work independently
  • Great attention to detail alongside sharp problem solving skills
  • Advanced computer skills and willingness to adapt to technology
  • Drive to communicate effectively with your team and clients
