Job summary

With a strong secured forward workload and multiple long term infrastructure construction, renewal and maintenance contracts secured to 2030 and beyond, we are seeking an Excavator Operator join our team delivering works across the Rotorua region and beyond, and deliver the good work we are known for!

The Opportunity

We currently require an experienced excavator operator with a strong work ethic to assist with a variety of tasks and responsibilities including installation of wastewater and storm water mains and pump stations, general drainage work, minor earthworks and landscaping.

You will be responsible for the safe operation of our plant, as well as ensuring it is well maintained and cared for. You will use your good people skills to build genuine and lasting relationships our people and you will have the skills and experience to help us achieve our strategic objectives.

What you need to have

  • Class 2 license, with WTR endorsements
  • 2+ years Excavator operation experience
  • Experience in Drainage, Minor Earthworks and construction prep work
  • Possess a positive, can-do attitude
  • An unwavering commitment towards living safely with a safety record to match
  • Be a team player
  • Be self-motivated and driven to succeed
