Our Opportunity

An opportunity has presented for a Sustainability Advisor to join our Northern Region Construction team based in Eight Mile Plains, reporting to the Regional Manager. This role will provide you with an opportunity to work as part of a dynamic team where you will have support and mentoring as needed. The role will also coordinate sustainability consultants and look to foster junior sustainability colleagues.

In addition, this position will enable the integration and development of project and regional sustainability objectives and targets for Fulton Hogan. Developing sustainability as a practice within the company will be a key focus area as will overseeing and coordinating Infrastructure Sustainability ratings (IS) and reporting across several projects.

We are seeking an individual with a strong willingness to learn and develop within the sustainability profession. Together with:

  • IS rating awareness, preferentially ISAP credentials;
  • Autonomy and drive to promote sustainability within the business;
  • Motivation to innovate and lift BAU practices to improve sustainability outcomes;
  • Strong writing, communication and presentation skills;
  • Ideally an awareness of: procurement and contracting, life cycle and materiality assessments, emissions and energy consumption calculation and business case writing experience.
