Due to the significant growth of our operations, we have an opportunity for a Senior Contracts Advisor to join our Commercial team. This is a full time, permanent role based in our beautifully appointed South Perth corporate office overlooking the Swan River.
Within this role you will be responsible for ensuring the optimisation of IGO’s supply chain across our operations. You will ensure that risk is assessed and value for money is obtained for our business. This role presents a unique and genuine opportunity to think outside the box in the formulation and execution of contract strategies and initiatives.
As the Senior Contracts Advisor you will take the lead for all associated contracts and procurement activities, for assigned contracts and categories as well as taking ownership for the improvement of key processes in the contractor management lifecycle.
Reporting to the Contracts and Procurement Lead, you will form part of the wider Commercial team that is responsible for the tendering, negotiating, drafting and management of contracts. To be considered for this senior role you will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications;
- Experience in the practice of commercial negotiations within the Mining, Oil or Gas industries;
- Management of key internal and external working relationships, providing advice on commercial strategy and day to day administration;
- A highly level of commercial acumen and well developed analytical skills;
- Advanced skills in MS Office;
- Experience leading teams and mentoring others will be well regarded; and
- An engaging communication style and collaborative approach to work.
