Roster: 5:2 during the off season and 2:1:1 during field season (October – March)

THE ROLE

We are seeking applications from Exploration or Project Geologists who are interested in joining the Lithium team at the early stage of this exciting project in South-West WA. This role will be critical to the project’s success by spearheading early-stage regional geological reviews, driving target generation, and committing to building strong stakeholder and community relationships. Field work and drilling activities will take place throughout the summer months (October to March), out of Bridgetown, DIDO from Perth. Primary activities at this stage include geological and geophysical compilations and interpretations, target generation, mapping, soil sampling, supervising drill rigs, and logging. We are seeking someone who has excellent exploration skills and can bring a strong commitment to building and maintaining community and landholder relationships.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

You will need a strong focus on safety and the drive to be part of a successful team, whilst adhering to our company values. You will hold a Bachelor's degree majoring in geology or geochemistry and have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role. You will have a demonstrable passion for mineral exploration and discovery, coupled with the ability to work on greenfields projects where you will be comfortable with varied accommodation. You should be solutions-focused and enjoy a combination of fieldwork and technical interpretation and discussion.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will also have:

  • BSc in Geology, Geophysics or Geochemistry;
  • Previous stakeholder relations and community engagement experience;
  • A willingness to complete field work on a campaign basis, specifically over summer months (October-March);
  • Demonstrated knowledge of lithium systems is advantageous;
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
  • A solid understanding of structural geology principles;
  • Demonstrated planning, time management and project management skills;
  • Experience in 3D software packages (Micromine) beneficial;
  • Valid ‘C’ class manual drivers’ licence essential; and
  • National Police Clearance obtained within the last three months.
