About the role:
The primary purpose for the Distribution Lineworker is to undertake the construction and maintenance of electricity distribution networks through the safe & effective work practices.
- Study and interpret technical drawings and network line diagrams
- Undertake the construction and maintenance of electricity distribution networks in accordance with Company Policies, Quality Systems and HSE procedures as well as statutory requirements
- Comply with all WH&S policies and procedures pertaining to your role
You would be required to work a 10:4 roster, 9 hours per day. Intrastate travel is required for this role, however Living Away from Home Allowance will be paid as described in the above EBA. Please refer to the QLD EBA (AE514373 (fwc.gov.au)) for pay rates associated with this role.
The successful applicant will require experience in distribution line maintenance and construction and hold the relevant qualifications.
- Cert III ESI in Distribution
- Current QLD Electrical Licence
- Valid Driver's Licence (HR - highly desirable)
- White/Blue Card
- Highly motivated to achieve success
