Zinfra partners with companies across the utility and infrastructure sectors to deliver maintenance, operations, engineering, and construction services. For our partners, our work is crucial to maintaining the safety and reliability of their electricity and gas transmission and distribution assets.

About the role

We are seeking two Job Planners who will effectively package program of works and coordinate timely completion with Zinfra delivery. Each planner will have responsibility to separate geographical area, as well as having an opportunity to interchange when required.

A day in a life of a Job Planner

  • You work collaboratively in a large highly motivated friendly team
  • You work out the scope of work from the planning team and plan and scope a rolling 4+ weeks of works program
  • You will plan out the job in accordance to availability of people and resources
  • You keep an eye on the big picture and have a keen eye for detail as you work out the intricacies of the job and problem solve any challenges
  • You use SAP to plan out the work effortlessly
  • You do all this while meeting customer satisfaction targets and minimising the impact of any disruption to the network
  • You will also make time to go out in the field and learn and experience the life of a field tech once a quarter so you can get a sense of how your planned works makes an impact on the ground

Your characteristics and experience

  • Your SAP experience and your competency in using Microsoft Office products
  • Your demonstrated knowledge of operational work types and the ability to factor in work type dependencies into a deliverable work plan .
  • Your ability to schedule and plan resources, including field staff, plant and equipment
  • Showcase your high level of skill in problem solving
  • Highlight your highly developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Tell us about your knowledge of business procedures and standard work practices
  • Your working knowledge of enterprise work programs and processes
