About the role
Join as an Asset Information Specialist, collaborating with the Asset Information Manager to enhance asset record management across our Gas Transmission assets. Your main goal is to improve the accuracy and efficiency of record management.
You'll provide crucial technical advice to the team and the company, ensuring well-maintained records and documents. This advice will help maintain accurate recording, organization, and access to asset information. Additionally, this position you will:
- Lead specialised asset information and records tasks for operational, planning, project, and strategic business needs.
- Offer valuable content management services.
- Collaborate with Asset Records Administrators to ensure consistent and unified approaches to storing asset information records.
- Develop action plans to address identified issues or improvement opportunities.
- Ensure adherence to standards and regulatory demands for managing asset records and controlled content.
A little about you:
Ideally you will have:
- Excellent computer skills, with a diverse knowledge of information systems
- Sound records, document control and information management knowledge and experience
- Comprehensive understanding of utility asset records, record lifecycles and associated processes
- Experience in supply contracts of administrative services (e.g. Offsite archiving)
- Involvement in delivering services to internal or external customers
Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Management or a related discipline
