About the role:
Due to continued growth our NSW team is expanding. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Operations Manager or Team Leader looking for their next step to join Johnson Controls.
This is a hands-on role, and you will take ownership for the HVAC Service delivery functions for the Newcastle based Regional Service team, including management of WIP, L&M pipeline & labour resourcing and planning.
What you will do:
Hands on role, leading the field team to achieve operational KPIs
Drives operational excellence
Manages the WIP list
Review and management of schedules and reports
Conduct customer account reviews
Oversee contract renewal activities
Drive L&M pipeline management activities
Manage labour resourcing, forecasting and planning activities
Manage technician development through on-the-job training, coaching, performance management
Oversee recruitment and onboarding activities for new technicians
Undertake field ride-along’s with technicians
Up to 50% of the role will require you to be on the tools
What are we looking for:
Experience with HVAC projects
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Leadership skills
Strong organizational, administrative skills and time management skills with ability to meet deadlines
High level of expertise in MS Office software including Outlook, Word and Excel
Capable of working efficiently in a fast pace environment and under pressure
Ability to work effectively as a team member and independently
