Our Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk (CCOR) organisation is at the forefront of managing risk in a complex and changing regulatory environment. As part of the Operational Risk team based in Sydney, Australia, you will be directly involved in providing independent guidance and oversight to the Securities Services line of business for the Corporate and Investment Bank. Joining our team, you’ll help to safeguard the firm’s business by executing the operational risk management program balancing regulatory requirements and the firm’s business needs.
About Compliance, Conduct & Operational Risk (CCOR)
Who we are: Our Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk (CCOR) teams work globally, across all lines of business. The Securities Services Operational Risk Management (ORM) team within CCOR, provides independent operational risk management oversight of and advice to Securities Services.
What you can do: Help execute the firmwide Operational Risk Program by exploring and gaining an understanding of the primary activities of the business, including key processes, risks and controls. You’ll use your analytical skills in the execution of oversight of the business, including monitoring and testing activities and challenge of business self-assessments of risks and controls. Review new products and services, including data management and analytics, digital asset custody and fund services. You will interact with senior management, and key stakeholders on all aspects of the operational risk program.

You will be degree qualified and have at least 5 years of directly relevant experience. It will be an advantage to be familiar with custody business including funding accounting and administration.
