We currently have a fantastic opportunity in our IT department for an experienced Service Desk Analyst, to provide technical support to our retail stores, supply chain, and store support offices. This will be a full-time opportunity and involve working in a 5-day roster over weekdays and weekends.

We are looking for someone who has proven experience as a Service Desk Analyst. You will be someone that has excellent customer service and IT troubleshooting skills including over the phone, in person, or online chat services. Experience with Microsoft Applications and Service now or similar is required.

What you’ll be doing

As a Service Desk Analyst for our Technology Operations team you will:

  • Investigate and resolve incidents & problems to restore service within the agreed SLA
  • Provide a 24/7 support service on a rotating roster cycle
  • Ensure follow-up with customers to confirm incidents are resolved
  • Provide level 1 and some level 2 support
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and drive them to implementation
  • Ensuring system downtime is minimized.
  • Engaging successfully with other support functions in the coordination of incident resolution activities
  • Ensuring constant customer satisfaction

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

  • Have 3 plus years of experience in an IT service desk or similar role.
  • You will be a clear communicator with a passion for good customer service
  • Have strong understanding or background in Information Technology or similar
  • Will have strong documentation and writing skills
  • Be able to prioritise and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • You will understand retail operations
  • Have experience with Microsoft Applications and ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems
  • Have IT or related degree qualifications and /or industry qualifications relating to a complex ICT environment preferred.
