Join the team

As a Process Engineer you will be a part of Kmart’s newly created Innovation Squad, that will lead the development of new initiatives by building and creating ‘first of their kind’ technology in retail. This team will transform the way Kmart interacts with their customers in the future through the digitalization of stores.

What you’ll be doing

As a Process Engineer you’ll

  • Ensure project deliverables are achieved for projects and change management implementations
  • Collaborate with various teams to identify opportunities for innovation
  • Develop and maintain great working relationships with key stakeholders to negotiate and influence change implementation
  • Develop reporting to support new processes the have been developed for the Kmart stores

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

  • Experience as a Process Engineer with a strong background in retail or similar industries
  • Proven expertise in previous innovation and large-scale transformation projects
  • Demonstrated experience in process design and change management
  • Expertise in data analysis
  • Experience using human-centred design and Lean Six Sigma
  • Ability to present data to support change initiatives
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • A logical thinker who can apply new concepts and principles across a variety of innovations
