We are seeking expertise in the areas of identity and access management (IAM) to proactively provide technical consultancy, support, testing, application identity, authentication, and authorisation integration advice.

Working with the rest of Cyber Security team, you will be responsible for ensuring business and technology initiatives incorporate identity and access controls proportionate to classification of the system or information; and that Lion identities and authentication and authorisation mechanisms are appropriately secured.

A major focus will be improving standards and governance processes associated with IAM within Lion. You will work with Lion teams and our strategic partners who manage IA systems and through oversight and reporting, ensure they are being effectively and efficiently maintained.

Day to day you’ll:

  • Support the Personal Information Protection Manager (Director Information Security) on IAM matters
  • Help build and foster strong relationships across the organisation and with external parties as they require access to Lion systems and data
  • Help embed the principle of least privilege culture into and across Lion
  • Undertake IAM risk assessments
  • Update IAM policies, standards and guidance
  • Support data incident and breach responses
  • Support the information security/cyber security plan and global governance framework
  • Define and report on IAM security metrics
  • Administer key performance indicators (KPI’s) pertaining to IAM
  • Safeguard critical assets by identifying IAM security problems, support managing resolution of potential and actual cyber security risks and report violations

Skills we are after:

  • Strong technology knowledge, especially pertaining to IAM controls - Windows, Linux/Unix, as well as Databases, Network devices.
  • Strong technology knowledge of IAM in Cloud solutions (Azure, AWS, etc)
  • Technical expertise in Microsoft AD and Azure AD
  • Experience in role management, entitlement, access certification and privileged access controls
  • Experience in implementing IAM solutions and products such as SSO and multi-factor authentication (Microsoft Authenticator etc)
  • Experience with Privileged Access Management solutions – ideally CyberArk – PSM.
  • Experience with IAM technologies such as OKTA, SailPoint, F5-APM etc


  • Cybersecurity qualification (Cert IV, Bachelor’s degree)
  • Technical qualification in an IAM technology
  • CISSP, GSEC, GCIA, GCIH, CCENT, CCNA, or CASP certification is a plus
  • Understanding of Security Operation Centre processes and best practices


  • Minimum two years hands on experience in Cyber Security
  • Proven work experience as a Security Specialist or similar role
  • Prior experience working at a Security Operations Centre is a plus
  • Experience with a range of IT systems, cyber security tools and control
