We have an exciting opportunity for a Workplace Services Leader to join the People Central team supporting our key Sydney CBD office. This role will report into our People Central Leader and will be key to people and customer experience in our Sydney offices.

The core purpose of this role is to provide day-to-day leadership and direction to our Workplace Services team, leading facilities management including maintenance, contractor management and organisation of events and functions.

This role is highly customer-focused and will be responsible for building strong relationships and influencing suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders. A fresh perspective on how we can maximise people and customer experience through our office is essential!

Day to day you'll:

  • Lead the team to maintain a high standard of presentation on a daily basis of reception, bar, kitchens, and meeting rooms
  • Deliver excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain excellent supplier relationships with all external suppliers for the daily running of the building
  • Manage expectations with cleaning and support staff for common areas throughout the buildings to ensure a high standard of presentation on a daily basis
  • Manage office maintenance issues, complete office walkthroughs in line with the team calendar to identify required works, liaise with contractors and suppliers to ensure work is actioned and completed as agreed
  • Lead the team to action and deliver resolution of all Tier 1 maintenance incidents, with all incidents actioned within the defined ALA of 48 hours

Experience we are looking for:

  • 5+ years facilities and office management experience in an FMCG or large corporate environment (desirable)
  • Involvement in and successful delivery of Continuous Improvement initiatives
  • Negotiating and influencing key stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering high quality of business partnering
