About the Role
We are seeking two experienced Asset Management Officers to become part of an outcome-focussed and friendly team within our Metropolitan Region. These positions are based in our Head Office in East Perth however you will be required to travel throughout the Metropolitan Region in undertaking your responsibilities.
These positions provide a key role in providing specialist technical support in the development, recommendation and monitoring of plans and programs for the efficient and effective management, use, preservation, improvement and expansion of the road network.
You will need to demonstrate the ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders and provide specialist technical advice to our customers, the community, community groups (including aboriginal and land management, other agencies, media and local government) on asset management plans, programs and interventions as required.
This position provides the opportunity for you to work in a team environment, undertake research analysis and problem solving as well as contribute to the growth of the Western Australian Road Network.
We are looking for enthusiastic and focused individuals to join our team. As you will be assisting the asset managers with the management of the road asst planning process, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure asset management and/or maintenance. This will support you to contribute to the development and maintenance of the regions asset management plans and allow you to monitor their implementation.
Your solid data analysis and problem-solving skills will assist you to develop business cases and economic solutions, as well as collect and evaluate road asset inventory and condition data. Proven knowledge of managing data bases and the application of data systems for network asset management will be highly regarded.
