About the Role

This People Business Partner is embedded within the Alliance’s People team to enable project delivery of Melbourne Airport Rail through strong business and people partnering.

You will support employees and leaders across the Alliance on a wide spectrum of people related disciplines (i.e. end to end employee lifecycle activities, performance management, talent and succession planning, remuneration and benefits, organisational design, change management, employee engagement, diversity & inclusion and service leadership).

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Be an active collaborative member of the Alliance People team and work closely with senior managers on proactive initiatives to coach, support and drive a culture that lifts capability
  • Collaborate with the broader MTM People team to contribute to the development and execution of the Projects Division People Plan.
  • Senior Stakeholder Engagement across the Alliance and MTM Enterprise wide
  • Support business transformations by delivering the appropriate organisational designs and implementations to enhance business performance and effectiveness
  • Coach and equip line managers with the appropriate knowledge to effectively lead and manage their teams
  • Empower teams in career development

About You

  • Tertiary degree in HR Management, or equivalent qualifications
  • 5 years + generalist HR experience working within a People business partnership model
  • Experience with stakeholder engagement across multi-disciplinary organisations
  • Passionate about people and being able to influence and affect long lasting change
  • Rail/Construction/Infrastructure experience highly regarded
  • Ability to schedule work priorities to ensure deadlines are strictly adhered to whilst managing complex situations, having solid problem solving and negotiating skills
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to write reports and manage time effectively.
