The Small, Medium, and Corporate (SMC) team helps businesses achieve their digital transformation and business goals by helping customers with Microsoft solutions and partners. Located in a one of our Digital Sales centres in APAC, you will help our managed and scale customers across industries, company sizes and territories to identify their needs and opportunities using the latest in digital selling technology including big data and analytics. Modern Work Technology Specialist’s (TS) is a Pre-Sales role where your main goal is to win the technical decision of customers to purchase and use our technology. You will work in a team, enabling the customers through digital transformation by leveraging our Modern Work solutions including Microsoft 365 and Surface. TSs are expected to be able to both own and win the customers technical decisions, as well as find new opportunities through their contacts and work they are on for salespeople to further pursue. As a TS, you work within a virtual team of technical, partner and consulting resources to help educate your customers at a technical level, demonstrate and prove our solutions, and win the technical decision allowing the team to achieve/exceed quarterly Microsoft 365 suite, Teams, Surface and OEM Meeting/Calling devices sales/usage targets in your accounts. Being part of this team will allow you to maintain and develop your deep technical expertise across Microsoft and non-Microsoft cloud-based infrastructure technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Scale Customer Engagements - Proactively owns winning the technical decision of the customer. Leverages technical sales strategy and technical expertise to address customer digital transformation and align technology to customer business needs. 
  • Scale Through Partners - Engages in partner sell-with scenarios by contributing to the facilitation of technical engagements and partnering with colleagues to manage the sales process. 
  • Build Strategy – Influences competitive strategy leveraging partner and internal teams; Acts as the voice of the customer by driving new feedback, blockers, insights, resource items across communities to support customer’s business outcomes and opportunities to promote usage. 
  • Solution Design & Proof - Identifies and applies existing demonstration assets. Leverages partner/customer teams as needed to prove capabilities and integration into customer environment in alignment with Microsoft standards. 
  • Technical Leadership - As role model, shares ideas, insight, and strategic-technical input with internal and external communities using knowledge of Microsoft cloud solutions and their context in the competitive landscape.

Provides thought leadership by acting as role model for the technical community and consistently sharing knowledge to increase the functional or technical skills and expertise of peers in ways that impact career goals and business outcomes.

Qualifications

Language skills:

  • Required: Advanced fluent Thai, and business fluent English
  • Preferred: fluency in Bahasa, or other languages used in the ASEAN region

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications from Microsoft or competitive platforms AND 3+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field AND 4+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
  • OR equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting, or related experience.
  • 4+ years experience with cloud and hybrid, or on premises infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management.
  • Certification in relevant (Microsoft or industry) technologies or disciplines (e.g., Microsoft Office 365, Power BI, Azure Architect and Development exams, Cloud Platform Technologies, Information Security, Architecture).

Technical

  • Deep technical experience in Office 365, Enterprise Mobility Suite and Windows including: Office clients; SharePoint/OneDrive for Business; Exchange; Skype for Business; Teams, Windows 10 or Windows 11; Security, Yammer; Viva, Project; Visio; Power BI; Delve Analytics
  • MS-900 Microsoft 365 Fundamentals or prepared to attain within 3 months.
  • MS-700 Microsoft Teams Administrator Certified or prepared to attain certification within 6 months.
  • Experience in M365 platform and Modern Work (remote work security, compliance, teamwork, insights, meeting and calling)
  • Certification in domain-specific technologies preferred: Telecommunications or Networking Industry Certification (ie CTNP, CVA) or Vendor Certification (ie CCNA, CCNP, etc) or Security related certifications (CEH, LPT, OSCP, or GPEN and CISSP, CCSP, GSEC, CCIA, GSED, ECSA or GISP)
