The Data Platform Team is building platforms that empower our colleagues and customers by making NAB’s data secure, easy to understand, use and enrich.

About the role:

As a Senior Analyst, Engineer you will be part of a team that has a strong focus on development and operations of current and new services to be implemented as aligned to the Governance Privacy Platform Engineering Road Map.

Day to Day Responsibilities will include:

  • Design, build & test standardised CI/CD pipelines that enable the deployment of services with Governance and Privacy Platforms
  • Continuously improve platform performance, efficiency & capabilities and maintain currency
  • Analyse production incidents when they occur and help work on fixes to resolve problems
  • Collaborate with engineers, to establish their pain points and help drive product backlog
  • Co-ordinate & collaborate with partner teams to achieve outcomes

We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated, and outcome driven working collaboratively within the team and the Enterprise.

What you will bring:

  • Experience with a range of core AWS and/or Azure Services, certification preferred
  • Knowledgeable in REST APIs, stateful API, microservices and event streaming
  • Good understanding of software development in Java, Python
  • Working in collaborative, enterprise, and agile environments and supporting tools
  • Demonstrated experience in Spring/Springboot frameworks, ServiceNow, AppDynamics, Splunk
  • Ability to navigate a large sized organisation & build relationships with stakeholders using informal and formal networks
  • Experience with Collibra will be an advantage.

Qualification Requirements

  • Preferable Tertiary qualified with a Degree in Business and/or information systems.
