Working closely with the Executive Personal Banking Marketing and multiple stakeholder groups across the business, you will ensure PB Marketing achieves its highest order priorities, on time and on budget. Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Lead the annual investment planning cycle for the Personal Bank Marketing teams ~$50M budget, including cost-centre reporting, targets and productivity measures
  • Align the marketing plan to business unit and domain and transformation objectives to ensure highest priority initiatives are accelerated
  • Run the operating rhythm, aligning with broader business cadence ensuring cascade of information and timely materials preparation for key forums
  • Run cross-squad planning and prioritisation to provide transparency on delivery and backlogs,
  • Lead the quarterly review process and showcases for PB Marketing to understand performance and future optimisations
  • Own and support adhoc projects as required such brand updates, reporting initiatives, colleague engagement

What you will bring

In this role you need to have loads of passion, be a pro-active highly experienced performer who has a proven track record in delivering robust planning and budget management.

You have a growth mindset, commercial acumen, superb senior stakeholder management skills and the ability to apply logic while dealing with complex problems. Tertiary qualified in a Business or a relevant field, you will:

  • Bring Operational and planning experience with commercial acumen
  • Advocate cross-functional analysis of problems, drive cooperation across teams and sub teams on key decisions to drive positive outcomes
  • Understand how to plan and allocate resources in the most efficient way
  • Understands how marketing adds value to the business, understands key marketing return metrics and how to evaluate returns across the lifecycle and Partnerships.
  • Proficient in use of key tools such as Microsoft Excel, Teams, Confluence
  • Succinct communicator with a strong action orientation
  • Finance or Consulting background is highly advantageous
