We are seeking a passionate and experienced Quality Assurance Consultant to join the Customer Identity Remediation (CIR)'s Governance team. The CIR team is responsible for enterprise Financial Crime customer identification remediation outcomes.

Reporting to the Manager, Governance you will work with senior stakeholders to provide guidance in order to meet obligations. You will coordinate a team of specialist and highly skilled colleagues whilst creating a supportive, inspiring and customer focused environment.

In addition, you will:

  • Work with colleagues within CIR, Customer Divisions and Financial Crime to define business rules for the population discovery and investigate phase, inputting to remediation strategy for remaining remediation tranches.
  • Contribute to the development of clear guidance, processes and controls for quality assurance across tranches. This includes development and/or improvement to artefacts to improve quality assurance across the business. This must be designed to be customer and banker friendly and aligned with NAB enterprise practices
  • Establish efficient and effective remediation processes (including customers that cannot follow the standard remediation pathway), protocols and frameworks supported by strong governance and documentation.

What you’ll bring

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial crime, quality assurance, risk, regulatory compliance or audit environment.
  • Understanding of and experience in Quality Assurance, Regulatory and/or Risk Frameworks
  • Proven ability to manage frameworks, processes and artefacts to enable sustainable business outcomes at scale.
  • Significant experience in process design, setup and execution
  • Understanding of AML/CTF and regulatory requirements
  • Deep understanding of NAB’s Event Management Framework and Risk Management Framework
