A fantastic opportunity at nbn, Australia’s largest infrastructure project, as the Strategy and Sourcing Manager, reporting to the Executive Manager Strategy and Sourcing for Field and Wireless Services, Procurement.

A bit about your role

As the Strategy and Sourcing Manager, you are to act as a conduit for nbn to secure externally sourced field services that provide sustainable value. This role will be sourcing for design, construct, activate and assurance, and managed services (Fixed Wireless and Satellite) scopes.

This role will see you drive competitive strategic sourcing initiatives, contract negotiation in collaboration with business stakeholders and support (legal, risk, HSE, security) including sourcing strategy, supplier selection, tender preparation, tender management, evaluation, and contract negotiation in collaboration with business stakeholders and support (legal, risk, HSE, security).

A bit about you

The successful candidate will have a strong customer focus, a demonstrated strength in category management, and a drive to deliver commercial and sustainable value. You will bring end-to-end strategic sourcing experience including tendering, negotiations, contract development, supplier performance management and supplier relationship management.

You have worked with a high degree of autonomy and intuition to track and record within account and relationship management within large complex organisations. Moreover, you are able to effectively communicate and present to senior leaders.
