Capacity Planner

A fantastic opportunity at nbn, Australia’s largest infrastructure project, as the Capacity Planner, reporting to the Capacity Planning Team Leader, where you will join the Capacity and Resource Planning Team.

A bit about your role
As the Capacity Planner, you are responsible for the execution of the capacity plan. You are to navigate in-month changes to demand and supply by developing a cost-effective resource strategy in line with nbn business plans to meet customer service program requirements. You will be accountable for developing contingency plans to meet the metrics.

The Capacity Planner will be analysing the differences between planned and actual capacity and demand. You will be managing forecasting, identifying supply gaps and. Along with this, you are to negotiate with Delivery Partners to balance the supply and demand across territories.

A bit about you
The successful candidate will need to possess an excellent understanding of planning, scheduling, and dispatch services. You will engage directly with field-based resources in order to collaboratively achieve outcomes in a fast-paced working environment.

Furthermore, you will have a strong knowledge of service activation, service assurance, and network assurance for Service and Delivery field workforce projects, and a solid understanding of basic network concepts. You are to work in ambiguity and will need to be able to quickly adapt based on changing conditions and a dynamic rollout schedule. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with Excel skills are essential to perform this role.
