A fantastic opportunity at nbn, Australia’s largest infrastructure project, as the Senior Development Engineer, reporting to the Manager DevSecOps CEDW FDM as part of the broader DevSecOps Data Warehouse team.

A bit about your role

This role will see you collaborating with stakeholders across the business unit. You are to play a critical role in gathering requirements from the business and developing data solutions. You will conduct impact assessments for the proposed change and be involved in the project implementation.

This will involve designing, testing, implementing, and maintaining an ELT process to support the Cloud Enterprise Data Warehouse (CEDW) and data platform. You are to leverage the standard toolset and develop ETL/ELT code to move data from various internal and external sources into the analytics platform.

Moreover, you will have the opportunity to conduct a demonstration of the solution to the business (technical and non-technical).

A bit about you

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in IT with hands-on experience in large data warehouse projects, strong ELT/ ETL developer experience, the ability to select and implement appropriate ETL or ELT techniques and are an expert with SQL and have a fundamental grasp of python and git for development cycles.

You will bring strong communication skills with the ability to gather requirements and present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences. You are collaborative with good stakeholder management skills.

Bachelor’ degree in Computer Science or a related field would be valuable.
