A fantastic opportunity at nbn, Australia’s largest infrastructure project, as the Senior Technology Strategy & Innovation Specialist, reporting to the Senior Manager Strategy & Standards, where you will join the Strategy and Standards Team, a key pillar of the Integrated Network Environment Services unit.

A bit about your role

As the Senior Technology Strategy & Innovation Specialist, you will contribute to and influence cross-functional teams focused on successfully delivering specific initiatives and outcomes. You are to expand domain expertise and contribute to the E2E environment architecture covering all the network technologies, underlying infrastructure, and Security. This role will require you to have experience in INES.

Integrated Network Environment Service (INES) is a customer-centric organisation responsible for delivering environment services that consistently meet expectations and supports the delivery of testing outcomes. In line with NBN’s vision and strategy, INES is developed to promote innovation, simplification, quality and improved customer experience.

INES is accountable for building, operating, and maintaining the integrated network environment supporting NBN Co’s IT/OSS and network capabilities across its fixed, wireless, and satellite technologies, as well as the underlying infrastructure to meet this accountability.

A bit about you

The successful candidate will have Proven experience and knowledge in designing and managing carrier-grade integrated network environments within technology domains such as FTTx, HFC, FW, Satellite, Transit (Aggregation, Transport, NCN, etc.) and their network management systems, etc. In addition, you will have experience in network architecture. You will be able to prove experience with network and IT infrastructure, enterprise IT/security solutions, DC Operations, OSS/BSS Stack, and network Integrations.
