The Details

The Lead Digital and Remote Operations position will support the IT and OT teams across Prominent Hill to ensure that the operations and services including the remote operations are delivered and value-adding across the asset.

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that current IT and OT systems and processes are stable and reliable, with appropriate performance reporting in place to monitor service effectiveness. The proven ability to streamline and automate processes and create a positive experience in the workforce is a must.

Key Responsibilities

The role will manage the day-to-day functions of a technology team, including its alignment and compliance with the work management processes and practices. Specifically, this includes:

  • Working to the priorities already determined by the Prominent Hill Senior Leadership Team, design and implement service improvements.
  • Lead the IT and OT teams.
  • Demonstrate autonomy and adaptive capacity to learn and grow into the future Prominent Hill Operating System.
  • Working closely with functional experts and the Superintendent - Transformation Projects to develop and oversee the execution of the Prominent Hill ICT Strategy.
  • Lead in ongoing engagement with key stakeholders, including suppliers and on-site partners.

  • Experienced leader of people, with preference given to extensive experience leading teams through change.
  • Proven capability to translate strategic priorities into practical, pragmatic packages of work that will shift the practices and processes currently in place.
  • An ability to coach others through new ways of looking at existing problems.
