Roster: Flexible roster to match your-work life plan, averaging 50% time on site.

Contract Type: Full-time permanent

We are current seeking an experienced Senior People Partner, reporting to the People Superintendent, who will act as a key business partner and human resource advisor to managers, superintendents and supervisors across our Mining, Technical Services and Project Delivery departments.

What we need delivered:

  • Partner with challenge and assist leaders with talent acquisition ensuring that diversity of thought, land connected and local talent is prioritised.
  • Act as a key business partner and human resource advisor to managers, superintendents and supervisors.
  • Partner with and coach leaders to develop capability in employee relations, performance management and workers compensation matters.
  • Provide oversight, interpretation and advice on key HR reports including data analysis of insights learning.
  • Identify opportunities for streamlining and improving current People processes and functions with a customer first mindset.
  • Lead or support key People Projects which help transform us into a modern, data driven and agile company.
  • Support organisational development and strategic project implementations effectively throughout the business.
  • Partner with leaders on cultural change initiatives to increase engagement, empowerment and both physical and psychological safety.
  • Support Training as a special interest, ensuring initiatives are communicated and implemented effectively across site.
  • Maintain the HRIS data integrity for your business units.
  • Lead or support annual HR initiatives such as talent reviews, remuneration reviews and goal/development planning.

What we are looking for:

This role requires a self-motivated, hands-on, and values-based individual with a desire to deliver best outcomes with skills, experience, and personal attributes, including:

  • A great communicator, who develops strong, productive partnerships at superintendent and manager level and is expert at engaging/influencing key stakeholders at all levels.
  • The ability to take on work outside of your comfort zone.
  • A growth mindset with the ability to test the status quo to improve current systems and procedures.
  • 5+ years generalist knowledge and experience in contemporary HR, industrial relations, recruitment, and extensive business partnering practices.
  • A collaborative and team orientated operator with a strong focus on sharing knowledge, ideas and building trust.
  • Someone who values diversity and inclusion with a focus on the employee experience and driving culture change.
