Your new role
Our high performing Risk Services practice assesses the activities and risks our clients face and finds ways to improve their business practices. As the facilitator of strategic and organisational change, the Risk team makes a real difference to clients by identifying their untapped potential and supporting their continuous improvement.
As an IT Audit Specialist, you will lead client engagements to deliver meaningful change through strategic and holistic IT-focused risk assessments and internal audit engagements.
You will provide commercially sound advice to a diverse range of clients by:
- Leading and delivering assessments covering a range of IT domains including strategic planning, governance, operations, cyber security and project delivery.
- Identifying process and system improvement opportunities to help reduce risk exposures and increase business efficiency.
- Working collaboratively in a team environment and developing strong relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
This role is offered on a flexible full time or part time basis.
What you bring
You have experience working in an IT audit, advisory or consulting role and possess relevant tertiary and/or professional qualifications/certifications.
You bring a passion for IT and technology, a can-do attitude and be willing to put your hand up, have a go, and step outside your comfort zone. With a track record of working in teams and collaborating, you naturally problem-solve, are curious and have an appetite for learning and self-development.
Solutions focused, you embrace ambiguity and can uncover key insights to deliver commercial outcomes for clients. You are an effective communicator and can translate technical jargon to non-technical stakeholders, whilst building rapport, influencing, and negotiating when required.
You have a flexible mindset and will adjust your solution based on our client's maturity and needs. You also have adaptability to contribute on a variety of engagements that stagger across the different domains.
While not essential, working experience with relevant information technology, security and project management standards such as ISO27001, NIST, ITIL, PMBOK and Scrum would be well regarded.
