The Role

Programmed Facility Management is currently seeking a Casual experienced and motivated Claims Officer/ Administration Officer to be part of a major contract with a government agency, based in Canberra .

Supporting the Contract Manager and technical team, this position is accountable for providing first class customer service and administration support to the business. Other duties will include processing and submission of claims is completed in an accurate and timely manner, as per KPIs.

Skills and Experience

  • Administrative and Clerical Support:

    • Ensures administrative and support processes are adhered to
    • Ensures all administrative processes are completed in a timely and accurate manner
    • Ensures all information and documentation is safely stored in accordance with Policy, taking in to account the confidentiality and security requirements of the contract
    • Generates reports as required and meets specified timeframes and quality standards
    • Processes invoices, claims and job orders to ensure compliance with Programmed standards and seeks approval in line with contract requirements
    • Signs off completed work orders and submits claims in accordance with policies and procedures.
    • Maintains an effective filing system
    • Provides administrative support for projects as needed

    Safety Environment & Quality:

    • Supports the sustainability initiatives and programs
    • Provides feedback and participates in continuous improvement initiatives to assist the Manager improve results in accordance with contractual obligations.
    • Sound computer skills and proficiency with data entry
    • Actively identifies hazards in the workplace and assists in mitigating / eliminating them.
    • Ensures that required compliance-based activities are undertaken in a timely and satisfactory manner.

    • Strong organisational capabilities with attention to accuracy and detail

    • Well organised self-starter with a steam orientation and able to work to tight deadlines
    • Sound written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience with Navision business management software or equivalent.
