The Role:

We currently have a new vacancy available for an Operator who will be responsible for the operation of machinery in relation to Grounds Maintenance works. You will work at a variety of Sydney Water locations & travel between multiple sites within Western Sydney. This role will also include carrying out regular grounds maintenance activities.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Float tractor between multiple sites on Hino Beavertail
  • Operate tractor to mow large industrial sites
  • Operate mower to mow large open sites
  • Assist as required in other grounds maintenance activities
  • Occasionally assist in other areas of maintenance activities due to business needs
  • Perform general maintenance to plant and equipment
  • Perform pre-start inspections and follow safe work practices

What you will need:

  • Construction White card
  • Manual Drivers licence
  • HR Licence
  • Flexible approach and a positive attitude
  • A team player but also able to work autonomously
  • Be willing to partake in our on-boarding process which includes pre-employment medicals, reference and qualification checks, online inductions
