The Position

An opportunity currently exists for a highly energetic senior project manager to join our Building Projects Team in our Notting Hill Office. The environment will suit a results driven 'all-rounder' who has a practical outcome driven approach and a strong client focus.

Reporting to the State Manager, this dynamic role is responsible for some estimating, quoting, planning subcontractor and internal labour, arranging materials and equipment to ensure projects are completed on time and to budget. The primary objective of this role is to manage operational activities, achieve customer satisfaction and profitable project delivery.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure projects and programs proceed according to scope, schedule, budget, quality standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Preparing detailed estimates/quotations in conjunction with our estimator from $50K to $5M
  • Develops and maintains a great rapport with clients, suppliers, industry experts, government representatives and other Programmed businesses to ensure the achievement of overall strategy objectives.

Skills and experience

  • A proven track record in the building industry as an operations manager, project manager or similar role
  • self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands to solve problems and achieve objectives.
  • Ability to manage multiple Projects at any one time ranging from $50K to $5M
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong leadership qualities and business acumen
  • A team player
  • Computer literate, embraces technology & drives new ideas & concepts
  • Excellent written & verbal communication & time management skills
  • A current Australian Driver's license
  • A Builders Licence
