About the role:

We are seeking an experienced National Logistics Administrator to join our team in Sydney. The role will report to the Supply Chain Operations Manager and is responsible for managing purchase order requisitions and ensuring that all local vendors are compliant with internal procedures and set-up requirements. You will also provide support to our business in terms of tracking and monitoring stock availability , goods and invoice receipting and ongoing reporting. As a focal point of communication for the Schindler business, you will get to work closely with our field teams and customers using your exceptional customer service skills. You will also work closely with our team of administrators working with a variety of stakeholders across the business.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Ensure purchase order requisitions and vendor quotes are processed accurately and efficiently for our service (Existing Installations) business nationally
  • Provide end-to-end Logistics assistance for Service Operations for all branches, including placement of orders, tracking, expediting and receipting of materials and services.
  • Keep Tracking spreadsheets up to date for EI Service Leaders/Technicians to identify items received for each branch
  • Ensure that the customer receives responsive service at all times
  • Provide reliable and responsive service to operations in all branches.
  • Perform all tasks in a manner that will not put yourself or others at risk of injury or illness

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience in logistics, procurement and administration, preferably within a services-based industry.
  • Strong customer service or project coordination background
  • Intermediate to strong MS office skills,
  • Experience using SAP or a similar ERP system.
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • The ability to work in a team and high attention to detail and time management skills.
