Performance and Accreditation Officer

About the role

The Land Development team are seeking a Performance and Accreditation Officer to join the team on a permanent full-time basis.

The Performance and Accreditation Officer establishes, manages and maintains a performance-based accreditation system for consultants and contractors who deliver assets for South East Water via the land development processes.

In this role, you'll be responsible for undertaking the assessment of engineering consultants and contractors and their key personnel to become accredited and placed on South East Water’s Accreditation Lists for the land development industry, assist in Quality Assurance Office Audits on consultants and contractors and will actively participate in consultant and contractor performance meetings to provide detailed tailored feedback on performance to drive improvement in quality, safety, and the environment outcomes.

You will be required to participate and contribute to serious incidents investigations and assessment of the incidents and subsequent consequences. (eg. Non Conformance Report, Show Cause Notice, Office Audit, Suspension, Demotion, Category Reduction, Termination).

About you

To be considered for this opportunity, you'll have the following skills and experience:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical issues and deliver constructive feedback
  • High level of negotiating skills with the ability to engage stakeholders, gaining their cooperation to secure suitable outcomes
  • Analytical skills with the ability to source, analyse performance KPI data, interpret statistics to undertake risk analysis
  • Strong computer skills, with experience utilising excel pivot tables
  • Working knowledge of various industry legislation, training requirements and Melbourne Water Retail Authorities standards
