The Lead Business Analyst will work with the Digital Utility Program Manager and the Business and Customer Change Manager to develop the future state operating model for digital devices within South East Water. This two-year, fixed term position will operate across the business, developing, managing, liaising, and supporting business representatives in the development of the operating model, including defining functions, accountabilities, capabilities and governance. The position will also undertake change impact assessments in conjunction with relevant business representatives to inform the Change Management Plan for the implementation of the new operating model. This role will also support other projects in defining and developing project scope and related business requirements.

Who are you?

The successful applicant will have between five to ten years of Business Analyst / Business Process Analyst / Change Analyst experience and possess strong process improvement design and process mapping skills. With experience in the development of an operating model and undertaking impact assessments; the candidate will also have demonstrated ability in facilitating workshops, process mapping, procedural documentation, performing post implementation reviews, report writing, training and system testing.

Other key skills, knowledge and experience required to undertake this exciting role include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Experience in the utility sector, preferably in water utilities with knowledge of advanced metering and smart meter operations considered highly desirable
  • Demonstrated capability to deliver within tight schedules
  • Solid experience in developing business requirements and previous experience in business transformation programs
  • An ability to quickly establish trust and rapport at all levels of an organisation and to manage a wide variety of business stakeholders
  • Experience and delivery in a complex and highly collaborative environment undergoing significant digital transformation
  • Ability to deliver within a complex and highly collaborative environment
  • Ability to perform a range of tasks with strong prioritisation skills
  • Strong communication skills demonstrating an ability to influence outcomes
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills
