The role

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the delivery of internal and external projects to approved time, budget and scope, whilst meeting quality and auditable standards and managing risk. They will lead and manage the delivery of projects to meet business outcomes, using varied project methodology. This includes but is not limited to managing the administrative aspects of the project management, including budget and schedule management and managing project delivery, including the management of stakeholders, vendors, communication, team, risk, schedule and budget. The Senior Project Manager will clearly understand the business needs of the project stakeholders and effectively deliver an outcome which maximises South East Water's investment.

Who are you?

In order to be considered for this role candidates will have the following skills and experience:

  • Extensive experience in a similar role working in a medium to large organisation
  • Experience with project governance, methodology and processes
  • A strong ability to communicate with influence and build healthy stakeholder relationships
  • Degree-level qualifications in Information Technology or an appropriate related discipline.
  • Programme and Project Management certifications are desirable.
  • Project Methodology certification such as PMBoK, Agile etc. would be highly valued.
