The Opportunity – Permanent, Full Time Position

This exciting opportunity to join a high performing team where you as Principal Tax Australia will deliver tax advisory, reporting and compliance activities for our Australian operating and corporate entities. Reporting to the Senior Tax Manager – Australia, key role accountabilities include the following:

  • Providing proactive tax advice as a preferred business partner to our Australian operation’s activities and business development projects.
  • Income tax, royalty and indirect tax lodgements, payments, forecasts and tax accounting.
  • Supporting Australian revenue authority relationships and compliance arrangements including reviews, audits and disputes.
  • Optimising legal entity holding, funding and profit repatriation.
  • Ensuring accuracy of intra group charges within current methodology and escalation of recommendations for improvement.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives which mitigate process risk and increase transparency of calculations and outcomes.

About You

You will be required to have the following:

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in large corporate and professional services environment
  • Demonstrated strong commercial, tax technical and financial accounting experience
  • Continuous improvement mindset, high degree of accuracy, and strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance Commerce or Law
  • CA/CPA or equivalent accounting qualification

This role will be based at our corporate office in the heart of Perth CBD.
