The opportunity:
As the Senior Consultant, Rail Systems you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise for the development of SYSTRA ANZ's rail business in Victoria by participating tender and delivery projects, assuring expected safety, quality and value for clients and SYSTRA ANZ. The role is based at our Melbourne CBD location and we also welcome a hybrid flexible working model.
- Contribute technical ideas and identifies information required to deliver tasks
- Capability to analyse the problem at hand (situation, data, stake, constraints)
- Understands project management procedures and assumes responsibility for task/small project management duties.
- Producing written materials for internal and external circulation with minimal guidance.

- General knowledge of rail systems (major components)
- Demonstrated working experience for rail signaling and control systems projects in Victorian metropolitan or regional area
- Demonstrated experience in solving technical problems, ability to applying a System Engineering approach, knowledge of Standards and safety requirements as applicable to train control
- Previous experience in delivering engineering works for modern signalling system and train control solutions (e.g. ETCS, CBTC) would be a plus (even if not based in Victoria
