We own, operate and maintain the electricity transmission and distribution network in Tasmania. We deliver a safe, cost-effective and reliable electricity supply to more than 295,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers. We facilitate the transfer of electricity between Victoria and Tasmania via Basslink, the sub-sea electricity interconnector. We also provide telecommunications and technology services.

About the role

The role of Procurement Specialist will see you partnering with key internal clients to increase the commercial acumen across the business and achievement of optimal commercial outcomes in procurement activities.

You will be facilitating end-to-end tendering activities across diverse subject and group areas to achieve optimised commercial outcomes in an efficient manner, in support of both categories and ad-hoc sourcing requirements

The position ensures that the tender and contract framework is understood and consistently utilised throughout the organisation.

About you

To be successful in this position you will require relevant tertiary qualifications, which may include supply chain management, procurement, contract law, or commerce disciplines or equivalent experience

Five (5) years demonstrated experience in a procurement management, contracts management or a similar role, Have a sound knowledge in application of contemporary procurement practices

Having a high attention to detail along with preparation and administration of tendering documentation, particularly within a regulated industry will come highly regarded.
