To be successful and safe in this position, you’ll need to pass a pre-employment medical assessment before you can start and you’ll need to commit to participating in on-call and planned overtime rosters, responding to emergency call-out situations.
About the role
- We are currently have 10 vacancies available across the following roles:
- Water Services Operator (Networks - based in Moonah) Duties include pipe repairs, responding to sewer blockages, and performing network maintenance on water and sewer mains. 5 roles available: 4 permanent full-time positions and 1 permanent fixed-term full-time position at 0.6 FTE.
- Wastewater Services Operator (Wastewater Central - based in Newtown or Blackmans Bay) — Responsible for operating sewer treatment plants, maintaining and operating sewer pump stations, and overseeing general plant operations.
- Water Services Operator (Huon Valley - based in Ranelagh) — A multi-skilled role involving water treatment, sewer treatment, pumping operations, and network pipe repairs.
- We are also building a talent pool of motivated and skilled professionals who are interested in being considered for upcoming fixed-term or permanent opportunities within our team.
- These permanent full-time role offers a 9-day fortnight and a total remuneration package ranging from $82,680.88 to $87,247.25 (including 15.5% superannuation). The package reflects an hourly rate starting at $35.81, with an increase to $37.80 following successful completion of probation.
- On call, call out and additional team specific allowances are available.
