About the role

The Competitive Play & Professional Events Administrator will play a key role in the delivery of successfuloperations for Australian Junior and Professional events. The success of the delivery of the AustralianProfessional Event calendar is in the planning and preparation. This role will create efficiencies through creating and communicating streamlined administrative & reporting platforms.

In this role you will:

  • Assistwith management of the Competitive Play Feedback and Tournament inboxes.

  • Set-up Australian Pro Tour, World Tennis Tour Junior,Australian NationalJunior Championship and Diversity& Inclusion Events.

  • Supportwith Financiallogisticsincluding payment of invoices through Workday.

  • Assistwith thecompilation of Progress and Final reports for State Government funding grantsubmissions.

  • Coordinate travel and accommodation for event staff.

  • Initiate and streamline processes to increase team efficiencies.

  • Liaisewith a range of event stakeholders, including Professional Events & Officiating Operations team, Member Associations, Tournament hosts, Health & Wellness, Referees, Chief Umpires, and local and international officials for operational requirements.


About you

To be successful in this role you willhave:

  • Knowledge and understanding of the Australian tournament landscape.

  • Experience working on and successful administration of operation elements relating to tournament delivery.

  • High level IT Competency and skills using Microsoft Office and other computer programs.

  • Hold (or be willing to obtain) a currentPolice CheckandWorking with Children Check.

  • Preparedness to be flexiblein regard toworking hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia.
