What you'll contribute to

This role is based in Altona and is on a Permanent basis.

How you'll make an impact

The Professional Development Consultant is primarily responsible for supporting the Dealer Professional Development team with the design and delivery of industry leading, tailored professional development programs for the Dealer network and Regions in order to build appropriate levels of skill and professional competency and contribute to Dealership profitability, guest satisfaction and business targets for Toyota over the short, medium and long term.

  • Facilitates learning solutions (face-to-face, webinars etc) that is professional, engaging and impacts individual learning and growth, contributing to business success.
  • Implements agreed Dealer Professional Development processes and procedures to achieve Dealer and regional staff learning and development objectives.
  • Partners in the development of training programs and materials, including but not limited to face-to-face training, e-Learning and online development to ensure high level operational capability in order to provide development systems that engage stakeholders and meet the current and future business requirements.
  • Liaises with all stakeholders to ensure development plans are clearly communicated, understood and executed in line with key business objectives.
  • Partners in the implementation of schedules for projects and reports performance against key milestones to ensure delivery of the training programs to schedule, quality and cost objectives.
  • Provides specialist support for the assessment and selection of suppliers in order to secure delivery of services at expected quality and at optimal cost. Supports ongoing supplier management.

Your attributes - If you've got one or more, we'd love to hear from you!

  • Undergraduate degree qualification or equivalent experience
  • Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (or a willingness to attain in first 6 months)
  • Experience facilitating group learning as well as the development and delivery of training solutions
  • Experience in a large retail environment (automotive industry ideal)
  • Experience in the administration of a Learning Management Systems (LMS) desirable.
