The Opportunity

Our UGL Utilities division is seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor for our Lower South Creek wastewater treatment program based at St Mary's NSW.

Key Responsibilities\:

  • Implementation of programs and procedures to ensure safe work conditions.
  • Ensure accurate scoping and definition of project resources and tooling requirements.
  • Scheduling of jobs to ensure they meet the standards and expectations of the Project Manager and our Client within agreed time constraints.
  • Monitor and control work performances.
  • Organise personnel and facilities to maximise productivity and quality.
  • Prepare reports, routines and records associated with the relevant work area.
  • Maintain and promote a safe working environment.

About You

  • Mechanical Trade Qualification
  • Experience in water/wastewater treatment desirable
  • Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands
