About the role

The EMD Administrator is responsible for working with the Business Support Applications like EMD, Insight, and others under the Business Application Manager/Lead – Engineering.

  • Provide input and be responsible for the production of Project Documentation (Design Reports, Drawings, Programs, Quality Plans, Project Document Management Plans, etc);
  • Ensure that all necessary reviews, verifications and validations are planned and conducted, and the outcomes of these are incorporated into the design;
  • Ensure that the support applications comply with the needs of the engineering team and ensure that all elements of the design are coordinated between all design team members;
  • Undertake any adhoc projects, initiatives, tasks as directed by the Line Manager.

About You

  • Completed 2nd year university studies in either Electrical, Instrumentation, Computer Science, Information technology, or Mechatronic fields.
  • Experienced gained in the rail, automotive, military, Defence, avionics or any other safety critical environment highly desired.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks and simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands
  • Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.
